27 Getting Started Power Sources Y our Fujitsu LifeBook notebook has two possible power sources: a Lithium ion battery or an AC adapter . CONNECTING THE AC ADAPTER The A C adapter pro v ides power for operating your LifeBook notebook and is used to charge the batteries.

55 T roubleshooting T roubleshooting Y our LifeBook notebook is sturdy and subject to few prob lems in the field. H ow ever , you ma y encount er simple setup or operating problems that you can solve on the spot, or pr oblems with peripheral devices, that you can sol ve by r eplacing the device.

Check all I/O addr esses located within the BIOS setup utility and any other installed h ardwar e or software to mak e sure ther e are no duplications.

See the POST messages to determine the meaning and severity of the problem. N ot all messages are errors; some are status indicators.
