Do not allow grease to accumulate. • Always follow the manufacturer’s recommended directions for use of kitchen cleaners and aerosols.
7 Oven vent location The oven vent is located under the control p anel. When th e oven is on, warm air passes through this vent. This venting is necessary for proper air circulation in the oven and good baking result s. S team or moisture may appear near the oven vent, this is norm al.

9 OVEN CONTROLS Setting The Clock The set clock key is used to set the clock. The clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour time of day operation. The clock was preset at the factory for 12 hour op eration. When the range is first plugged in, or wh en the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the timer in the display will flash.
10 OVEN CONTROLS Setting My Favorite Recipe (Professional model) The my favorite feature allows the user to sa ve a recipe to be recalled at any time. The recipe may be for an y baking temperature betwee n 170°F (77°C) to 550°F (288°C).
11 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Bake The bake ke y controls normal ba king. If rapid prehe ating is preferred, refer to the Pr eheat feature for instru ctions. The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170°F to 550° F . Baking Tip s: • Preheat your oven befo re using the bake mode.
12 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Convection Bake This mode of cooking enables you to obt ain the best culinary results when baking with multiple pans an d racks. Multiple rack baking may cook faster and more evenly with convection baking by using th e three e lements and a f an to circulate the oven’ s heat even ly and continuously within the oven.
13 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Broil This mode is best for meats, fish and poultry up to 1” thick. Broiling is a meth od of cooking tender cuts of meat by di rect heat under the br oil element of the ov en.
14 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Convection Broil Use this mode for thi cker cuts of meat, fish and poultry . Convection broiling gently bro wns the exterior and se als in the juices. Convection broiling uses the broil element and a fan to circulate th e oven’s heat evenly and cont inuously within the oven.
15 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Convection Convert The convect convert key is used to automatically conver t a standar d baking recipe for con vection baking. When set properly , this feature is designed to disp lay the actual converted (reduced) temperatur e in the display .
16 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Delay St art Bake, convection bake, bake time and delay st art keys control the delayed time bake featur e. The automatic timer of the delayed time bake will turn the oven on and off at the time you select in advance. T o program the oven for a delayed Bak e st art time (example: ba king at 375°F , startin g at 5:30): 1.
17 OVEN CONTROLS T able 2: Minimum and Maximum Control Settings All of the features listed below have min imum and maximum time or temperat ure settin gs that may be entere d into the control. An ENTRY acceptance beep will sound each time a control key is touched (the accept ance beep on the Oven Lockout key is delayed 3 seconds).
18 OVEN CONTROLS Cooking With Meat Probe Use the pr obe featur e for best r esults when cookin g foods such as roasts, hams or poultry . This feature also works well with other foods such as meat loaf and casseroles.
19 OVEN CONTROLS Choosing a setting for how the oven will op erate once the probe reaches the t arget temperature: The oven is preset to automatically stop co oking and star t the keep warm feature when probe sensor reaches the target temp erature. This may be set to continue cooking if desired.
20 OVEN CONTROLS If the error message Prob ERR displays ( Figure 13 ), check to be sure that the probe connector is fully inser ted into the recept acle. If the probe is fully inserted and the e rror message c ontinues, the probe may be defectiv e and nee d to be replaced.
21 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Slow Cook The slow cook feature is best for cooking cert ain foods at lower temperat ures for longer periods of time and work s best for beef (ribs and brisket), pork roast s, and poultry dishes. Slow Cook has two settings: Lo (225°F/108°C) and Hi (275°F/135 °C).
22 OVEN CONTROLS Setting the Sabbath Feature ( For use o n the Jewish Sabbath and Holidays) The bake time and delay start keys are used to set the Sabbath feature .
23 OVEN CONTROLS Steam Cle an The steam clean featur e offe rs a chemical -free and time- saving method to assist in the routine cleaning of your oven. S team clea n may be used before manually cleanin g the oven to help loosen soils on the oven bottom.
24 OVEN CONTROLS Self Cleaning Operation A self cleaning oven cleans itself with hi gh temperatures (well above norm al cooking temperatur es) which eliminate soils completely or reduces them to a fine powdered ash you can wipe away with a damp cloth.
25 OVEN CONTROLS Setting Self Clean Cycle Du ration The self clean key con trols the self clea ning feat ure. If you are planning to use the oven directly af ter a self clean cycle remember to allow time fo r the oven to cool down and the oven door to unlock.
26 CARE AND CLEANING Cleaning V arious Part s of Y our W all Oven Before cleaning any part of the oven, be sure all controls are turned of f and the oven is cool. Remove spills and any heavy soiling as soon as possible . Regular cleaning will reduce the nu mber of major cleaning later .
27 CARE AND CLEANING Removing and Replacing the Oven Door T o remove oven door : 1. Open oven door complete ly , horizontal with floor (See Figure 18 ). 2. Pull the door hinge locks on both left and right doo r hinges down from the oven frame completely to wards the oven door (See F igure 19 ).
28 CARE AND CLEANING Replacing the Oven Light The interior oven light s are located at the rear of th e oven cavity and are covere d with a gl ass shield. The glass shield must be in place whenever the oven is in use (See Figure 22 ). Replacing the oven interior light bulb: 1.
