3 Y our dishwasher cleans b y spra ying a mixture of hot water and detergent through the spra y ar ms against soiled surf aces. Each cycle begins with a pre-drain. Next, the dishw asher fills with water cov er ing the filter area. Water is then pumped through the filter and spr a y ar ms.

6 Operating Instructions (continued) Status Indicator Lights When the ADD-A-DISH light is on, you can add additional items. The W ASHING light comes on at the beginning of cycle and remains on until the end of the main wash. The RINSING light will come on and remain on dur ing the last two r inses of all cycles.

10 Dishwasher Dispenser & Deter g ents • Use only fresh automatic dishwashing detergent. Other types will cause ov ersudsing. • Add detergent just bef ore star ting cycle. • Store detergent in a cool, dr y location. Moist or caked detergent will not dissolv e proper ly .
11 Dishwasher Dispenser & Detergents (continued) Rinse Aid Rinse aid greatly impr oves drying and reduces water spots and filming. W ater "sheets" off dishes rather than f or ming water droplets that cling and leav e spots.
12 Care and Cleaning Overfill Pr otector — keeps dishw asher from ov erfilling and is located in the left front cor ner of the tub . • Clean occasionally with household cleaner containing vinegar or bleach to dissolv e any b uildup . • Ov erfill Protector should move up and down freely about one inch.
13 Care and Cleaning (continued) Property Damage Hazard F reezing temperatures may cause w ater lines to rupture. Be sure all supply lines to and circulating lines within dishwasher are protected. F ailure to do so could result in proper ty damage . Winterizing A dishwasher left in an unheated place should be protected from freezing.
14 Changing Color P anels Some models come with re v ersib le door panel inser ts which offer three decorativ e colors. T o change the color panel: 1. Remov e snap-on bottom trim by pulling f orward. Suppor t color panel(s) at bottom while removing trim.
