Battery Charging 7 Pb Pb • Plug the charger connector into the batter y . • Plug the charger into a standard 120 volt w all outlet . Note: If power flo w to the wall outlet is controlled b y a s witch, make sure the s witch is “ON”. • Bef ore first-time use, charge the battery for at least 18 hours.
Upper Clamp Assembl y • Open the upper clamp on the handlebar . • Lift the handlebar to its highest position. • Close the upper clamp on the handlebar .
Assembl y • Make sure the handlebar is in its highest position. • Wrap the plastic tie around the brake cab le, po wer wire and the handlebar . • Inser t the flat end of the plastic tie into the opening in the square end of the plastic tie. Pull the flat end of the plastic tie with pliers to be sure it is tight around the handlebar .
• T ur n the lock nut cloc kwise until it stops against the brak e adjustment knob . • T ur n the brake adjustment knob counter-cloc kwise until the lock n ut stops against the brake base .
Adjusting the Brakes 11 • Locate the brake compar tment. • T ur n the lock nut counter-cloc kwise a f ew turns to loosen it. • T ur n the brake adjustment knob counter-cloc kwise a f ew tur ns to close the gap . • Again, examine the brak e handle to be sure there is no gap between the brak e base and the brak e handle.
Label Decoration G Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the follo wing guidelines in mind: • Wash y our hands bef ore applying the labels. • Before applying the labels, wipe the surf ace of the scooter with a clean, dr y cloth to remove an y dust or oils.
Battery Installation H IMPORT ANT! Use only a P ow er Wheels ® 12 volt 12Ah batter y . Use of an y other batter y will damage your scooter . Make sure that y ou charge the batter y for at least 18 hours using the enclosed P ower Wheels ® 12 volt charger bef ore operating y our scooter for the first time .
Battery Care and Disposal I Care If a battery leak develops, a void contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation on this page for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.

16 Ho w to Operate Y our Scooter K • Open the handlebar upper clamp to unlock the handlebar . • Lift or lower the handlebar so that it is at a comf or table height f or your child. • Close the upper handlebar clamp to lock the handlebar in place.
Ho w to Operate Y our Scooter 17 • Place your other f oot on the back end of the scooter and press the throttle button. The scooter tr av els up to 7 mph (speed varies, depending on rider weight and terrain). • T o slow down or stop the scooter , release the throttle button and squeez e the brak e handle, as shown.
Ho w to Operate Y our Scooter 18 • T o put the kic kstand down, simply slide it tow ard the front end of the scooter . • T o put the kic kstand up, roll the scooter forw ard and then push the kickstand up .
19 Caring For Y our Scooter L • Maximum tire air pressure is 30 lbs. • Do not ov er inflate the tires. • Check all scre ws, cap n uts and protective co verings regularly and tighten as required. Check plastic par ts on a regular basis f or cracks or brok en pieces.

A new battery should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the scooter for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
