Battery Charging E Important Notes • Y our new batteries must be char g ed for at least 18 hours bef ore you use them in y our vehicle for the first time. • W e recommend that you star t charging your batteries bef ore beginning assembly of your ne w vehicle.

Assembl y T M 3 • Pull firmly to separate the two blac k motor har ness connectors near the rear of the v ehicle frame. • P osition the vehicle body on top of the v ehicle frame. • Fit each motor harness connector up through the rectangular opening in the vehicle body , one at a time.
12 Assembl y 7 T M • The right footboard w as inser ted in the vehicle fr ame at the f actor y . Mak e sure the right footboard is in place . • Inser t two #8 x 3 / 4 " screws into the right f ootboard as shown. Tighten the screws with a Phillips scre wdr iver .
Assembl y 13 T M 11 Right Exhaust Pipe T M 10 Right Exhaust Pipe - Outer Half • Fit the outer half of the right exhaust pipe (R) to the inner half of the right exhaust pipe . Hint: Use a long-shafted screwdriv er to complete this assembly step . • Align the holes in the inner half of the right exhaust pipe with the holes in the v ehicle frame.
Assembl y 14 Axle Bushing V ehicle F rame Rear Fo r k Ar m Groov e Rear Fo r k Ar m Wheel (with He x Busings) 16 • P osition the vehicle assemb ly so that the back is f acing you. • While holding the he x bushings in place, position the wheel between the rear f or k ar ms of the v ehicle frame .
Assembl y T M Steering Bushing Steering Bushing V ehicle F rame Neck • P osition the vehicle fr ame so that the front faces y ou. • Fit a steering bushing on top of the nec k of the vehicle fr ame. • Fit the other steering bushing underneath the neck.
16 Assembl y .354 (Small Diameter) Cap Nut F or k Axle • Place a .354 (small diameter) cap nut on a flat surf ace, inside up . • Fit the end of the f or k axle into the cap nut. • T ap the opposite end of the f or k axle with a hammer to secure the cap nut on the axle.
Assembl y T M 26 • Slide the right and left handlebars through the holes in the front f ork. • Align the screw holes in each handlebar with the scre w holes in the front f or k. • Inser t a #8 x 3 / 4 " screw through each front f ork and into each lower hole in each handlebar .
• Being careful to keep the shoc ks correctly positioned, align the hole in a shock with the hole in the handlebar . Slide the remaining wheel axle with .437 cap nut (assembled in step 13) thr ough one shock. Hint: If the hole in the shock and handlebar do not align, the front f ender is not proper ly seated on the front fork.
Assembl y 19 • Loosen the scre w in the sound bo x batter y compar tment door using a Phillips screwdriv er and open the batter y compar tment. • Inser t three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries in the sound bo x as indicated in the batter y compar tment.
T M Note: Y ou ma y want to install the P ower Wheels ® 6 volt batteries before assemb ling the seat. Please see “Batter y Installation” on page 24 f or detailed instructions. • Fit the tab on the front of the seat into the slot near the gas tank.
Assembl y • Fit a mirror lens to a mirror housing. • Inser t a #8 x 1 / 2 " screw through the bac k of the mirror housing into the mirror lens. Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er . Do not ov er-tighten. • Repeat this procedure to assemb le the other mirror lens to the remaining mirror housing.
Label Decoration G 22 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the f ollowing guidelines in mind: • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels. • Bef ore applying the labels, wipe the surf ace of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remov e any dust or oils.

24 T M IMPORT ANT! Use only P ower Wheels ® 6 volt batteries with A-style connectors and built-in thermal fuses. P ower Wheels ® 6 v olt batteries with external thermal fuses will not fit in the battery compar tment of this vehicle. Use of any other batteries or fuses will damage your vehicle .
If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a ph ysician.

28 Adv anced Use - High Speed Drive • Remov e the vehicle seat to access the high speed hook-up . • Plug the two high speed hook-up connectors together .
