3 Place unit on even surfaces. Don't place the TV in confined spaces or in a box w hen using it. Unplug immediately if is malfunction like no picture, no video/audio,smoke and bad odor from TV. Unplug immediately if other foreign materials are put inside TV box or if the TV fell down.
4 Remember to unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners to clean the display. Avoid direct sunlight, dusty, high humidity and smoky areas. Make sure to unplug the unit w hen not in use for a long period of time (days).

9 Preparing to Install An Optional Wall Mounting Arm: 1. Remove the lid on back cover 2. push the stand ahead until hear “ ka ” This TV can be attached to a wall mounting arm you purchase separately (The height of WALL MOUNTING should be over 21mm).

14 TO USE THE MENUS How to nav igate through the Settings menus The Settings menu allo ws you to access and change settin gs and preferences settings. • Press the MENU button on the remote cont rol to display the Settings menu. - Use cursor up/down to highlight and sel ect a menu item on the left panel.
15 Note: Sometimes not all the menu ite ms ar e visibl e on the screen. Use cursor down to scroll down to ad ditio nal items. - Use the cursor right to enter the right panel. The content of the right panel is moved to the left panel and the right panel sho ws t he content of the newly highlighted item in the left pa nel.
16 TV MENU-INST ALLA TION Select the menu language 1.Press the MENU button on the remote control. 2.Use the cursor down to select Installation in the Settings menu. 3.Use the cursor right to enter the Installation menu. 4.Select Lang uage and enter the list of available l anguages with the cursor right.
17 When Antenna is selected, the TV will detect antenna sign als and will search for antenna TV (NT SC and ATSC) channels av ailable in yo ur local area. When Cable is selected, the TV will detect cable compa ny supplied sig nals and will search for cable T V (NTSC, ATSC, QAM modulated) ch annels availabl e in your area.

In case you have two inputs and want to show the signal from CVBS, please turn off S-video device or plug off s-video cabl e.
23 This function allo ws you to reset most of the picture and sound settings to their default factory levels. 1.Select Reset AV settings w ith the cursor down key. 2.Press the cursor right key. 3.Press the OK button to erase settings and reset them to their default values.
24 This displays the transmitted CC- or CS -text on the screen accord ing to your chosen CC or CS service in the Feature menu. This text can either be permanently displa yed (assuming that the se rvice is av ailable in the broadcast) or only when mute is active.

28 Sleeptimer This sets a time period after which the TV automatically turns to standby. 1.Select Sleeptimer . 2.Press the cursor right key. 3.Select a value with the cursor up/down ke y. The list will have values from Off to 180 minutes. When Off is selected, the sleeptimer is turned off.

32 1.Press the cursor right key to enter the list. 2.Press the cursor up/down key to select a predefi ned sound setting ( Personal/Speech/Movies ). Personal refers to the person al preference sound settings in the sound menu. The defa ult mode is Speech .
33 Digital audio language This gives you the possibilit y to swap between main and alternativ e language, when it is available in digita l channel. AVL (A utomatic Volume Leveler) Automatically reduc es the volume differences bet ween channels and programs, providing a more constant ov erall level.
34 Parental Control menu This menu can control spec ial functions for the TV channels. 1.Select Parental Control in the TV settings menu with the cursor up/do wn key . 2.Press the cursor right to enter the channel s menu. 3.Press the cursor up/down key to select a chann els menu item.

36 Your TV is equipped with a V-chip. This allows you to control access to individual programs base d on their movie and T V ratings. All settings appl y to all AV inputs, except HDMI. The program content a dvisory data are sent by the broadcaster or program provider.

If, while Al l is selected, any other item, either an age-based or content-b ased item, is uns elected, then All is automatically unselected. None is the selection for items that either have no ratin g information or have a rating of None .

39 This function allo ws you to control access to individual mov ies based on their MPAA ratings (Motion Picture Association of America). 1.Select Movie ratings lock with the cursor down. A list appears, sho wing all valid MPAA content ratings. 2.Press the cursor right to enter the lis t.
40 Region ratings loc k This allows you to control acc ess to individual programs base on their broadcasted regional rati ng. NR not rated G movies with a mild content, suitable for all ages PG movies for which parental gui dance is recommended.
