12 Car t Installation W ARNING Attach the appliance to the cart with all of the supplied • bolts before use. All gas and electrical connections should be made • after the grill is installed and bolted to the cart.
13 Optional Side Shelf Installation Install the front mounting bracket for the right side 1. shelf. Use two (2) of the provided button head fasten- ers and two (2) lock washers. T ighten into place using a 5/32” Allen wrench. Slide the slot on the inside of the shelf over the pin on 2.
14 Install an approved flexible gas line from the regulator 3. to the gas shut-off valve. Gas Connection - LP Gas Cylinder Hose Connect the supplied 3/4” coupling and nipple to the 1. gas inlet at the back right bottom corner of the unit. Connect the included LP cylinder hose to the nipple.

2 A MINIMUM clearance of 1/4 inch (6 mm) must be • maintained, inside the base enclosure below the countertop material, from all vertical surfaces on the sides of the appliance, except on model OBSB162. On model OBSB162 a minimum clearance of 1/4 inch (6 mm) must be maintained in back and 1/16 inch on the sides.

10 Operating Y our Outdoor Grill Lighting the Bur ners W ARNING Do not light the appliance if you smell gas. Call for • service. T o av oid a fire or explosion hazard, light the burners • only as instructed. Keep all body parts away from the burners during lighting and use.
11 Operating Y our Outdoor Grill Lighting the Side Burners (OB52, OBS52 and OBSB162 Only) Each side burner control knob has an icon next to it to tell you which burner it oper ates. Push in on the knob and turn it counter-clock - 1. wise to the LIGHT/HIGH position.
12 T o manually light the optional sear burner: Make sure the drip tr ay is in place. 1. Make sure all control knobs are in the 2. OFF position. Make sure the gr ate above the sear burner is in place. 3. If using a LP tank, turn the v alve on the top of the 4.
13 Slide both forks toward the center , skewering the 6. meat. Tighten both forks using the attached thumb screws. Attach the rotisserie motor to the side of the outdoor 7. grill by slipping the edge of the brack et down into the slot on the right side of the frame.
14 Operating Y our Outdoor Grill Manual Lighting Procedure - Rotisserie Make sure the drip tr ay is in place. 1. Make sure all control knobs are in the 2. OFF position. If using a LP tank, turn the v alve on the top of the 3. tank, counter-clockwise, to the fully open position.
15 Operating Y our Outdoor Grill With the canopy closed, preheat the outdoor grill to 5. a temperature of 225 to 300ºF . Make sure the burner under the smoker box is lit. Once the outdoor grill reaches the above temper ature r ange, allow an addi - tional 15 to 20 minutes for smoke to gather inside the grill compartment.
16 Operating Y our Outdoor Grill Using the Optional Sear Burner Models OBS36 and OBS52 Only The optional infrared (IR) sear burner is located on the right side of the grill compartment. It quickly sears meat to lock in avor and juices. The meat also absorbs smok e and food aroma the burner produces when it v aporizes the grease and drippings.
17 Care and Cleaning Cleaning Instructions T o keep your outdoor grill looking and operating its • best, clean it after every use. Spills that remain on the parts may be very difcult to clean, especially if allowed to burn on.
18 Care and Cleaning Cleaning the Porcelain Grates and Warming Rack The standard grates and w arming rack that come with • the appliance are coated with a porcelain nish. F or everyday cleaning, use a soft cloth or non- abr asive pad with warm soapy water to clean all of the porce - lain parts.
19 Care and Cleaning Cleaning the Optional Side Burners IMPORT ANT Cover the side burners with the included stainless • steel burner cover when they are not in use and cool. Doing so will protect them and help keep them clean. The igniter will not work properly if the burner cap, • burner head, burner base or the igniter itself are not clean.
20 To replace a light bulb, follow these steps: Disconnect the outdoor grill power cord from the elec - 1. trical outlet. Remo ve the lens from the housing by pulling str aight 2. out. In some cases the lens may be tight enough to require the use of the included lens pry stick.
21 T esting/Resetting the Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) The optional outdoor grill cart is equipped with a GFI to minimize the risk of injury due to an electric shock in the event of a short circuit. If your outdoor grill is connected to a GFI outlet that is not part of a Dacor grill cart, the following instructions still apply .
