8 818 35 95-01/9 Befor e Use Pa c k a g i n g 0 1. Remove all adhesive tape and packaging from the interior of the appli- ance. 3 Any r emnants of adhesive can be removed with white spirit. 2. Remove the transport pr otection pieces and pull off the adhesive tape.

818 35 95-01/9 11 Opening the door If the door is closed when the applia nce is in operation, it cannot be immediately opened again, because a vacuum occurs which holds the door closed until pressur e has been equalised. The door can be opened again after several minutes.

818 35 95-01/9 15 Prior to Initial Start–Up 1 Before connecting the appliance to the mains and putt ing it into oper- ation for the fir st time, leave the a ppliance to stand for 30 minutes if was transported upright. After tr ans port on its side, the appliance must be left to stand for 2 hour s before putting it into oper ation.

818 35 95-01/9 19 T emperatur e memory 3 W hile the curr ent freezer t emper atur e is above -1 1 °C, the warmes t temperatur e the freezer has r eached during the alarm period is stored and can be called up as often as wished by pressing the ALARM OFF button.
