When to Replace Ink T ank and Maintain Print Head 67 Routine Maintenance When to Replace Ink T ank and Maintain Print Head When an ink tank is empty , it must be replaced. The BJ Status Monitor (Windows) or the BJ Print Monitor (Macintosh) will initially advise you of a lo w ink le vel.

The pr inter will not print properly if the wrong ink tank is used, or installed in the incorrect position. With this printer , ink tanks must be installed from the right in the order indicated below .
