5 1. Instruction Congratulati ons on pur chasing this W ireless 54Mbps PCI Adapt er. Thi s W ireless PCI Ad apter is designed to compl y with IEEE 802.1 1g Wir eless LAN standard and it is suitable for any laptop computers and provi des max imum data tr ansfer r ate up to 54 Mbps.
6 2. Install Driver & Utility Note: If yo u hav e install ed the W ireless PCI Card driver & utility bef ore, pl ease unins tall the old ver sion first. 2.1 For Windows Vi sta Step1: Turn off the computer and ins ert the W ir eless PCI card into the PC I slot of your computer.
7 Step3: Pleas e wait for while during s earching for hardw are and install ing drivers. Step4: Set up has f inished install ing W ireless LAN Driver o n your comp uter, click “ F inish ” to exit the setup wizard.

13 Step4: Select t he language for t his installation from the c hoices below and click OK to continue. Step5: The InstallShield W izard for Realtek Wire less Network Utility will displa y, click Next> to continue.
14 Step6: Sele ct the co untry do main for which RTL8185 W LAN is au thori zed t o us e. Then, click Next> to cont inue. Step7: C lick Yes to cont inue.
15 Step8: Pleas e wait for a while for ins talling pro cess. Step9: After W iz ard ha s finished the installing, click Finish to compete the setup. Note: In Window s 2000 Operation System, it is strong recom mending that start your computer aft er the de vice driver is installed comp leted.
