In Prog ram AE mode, yo u can poin t and shoot as in Auto mo de, however, you have the option of cha nging some set tings.
50 Using the Shutter-Priority AE Mode Y ou can selec t a shutter speed , and the camcor der automati cally sets a matchin g aperture setting. Select a high shutter speed for recordi ng fast moving sub jects, and a slow sh utter spe ed to create a trai ling after image.

When y ou play back a tape, you can displa y the data code and se lect the data code combination you wish to disp lay .
86 End Sear ch When you have p layed back a tape, you can u se this fun ction to l ocate the e nd of the la st recorded scen e. In stop mode, press the END SEARCH button. • “END SEARCH” appea rs. • The camco rder rewinds/fa st forwards t he tape , plays back the last few seconds of the recording an d stops the tape.
87 Advanced Functions Playback E Retur ning to a Pr e-mar k ed Position If you wish to return to a particu lar scene later , mark the point with th e zero set me mory and the tape will sto p at that poin t when you rewind/fast forward the t ape.
