32 About Log Files The resul ts of recogni tion perf ormed with the ba rcode detec tion function or OCR functi on can be saved as a log file in the CSV fo rmat. To save a lo g file, sele ct the Write Log File check box in the appropri ate tab of the Barcode/OCR LogSetting dialog box show n below, and then s pecify a desti nation lo g file.
33 About Barcode/OCR Modification The barc ode and O CR recog nition res ults are s aved in a log file . About Log Files ( → P. 32) In the M odify Barc ode/OCR dialog bo x, you c an display and mo dify the recogniti on results stored in a log file, as needed.
34 About Other Function s Captur ePerfect prov ides the "Save Rotate d Image" and "Save As Two Ima ges" functi ons that s ave scan ned images after spe cified rotati on, or after s plitting into top a nd bottom or left and right halves , respect ively.
35 Rotate Right 9 0°: Scanned im ages are ro tated 9 0° clockwis e before s aving. Rotate 180°: Scanned ima ges are rotated 180° befo re saving . Save As Two Images By spli tting an i mage, two s eparate imag es are cre ated from each one scanned, by spli tting it ei ther horizon tally or v ertically b efore savi ng.

65 Inserting/Adding Pages to an Image File Pages c an be inserte d and add ed to TIFF o r PDF files. For the imag e to insert/ad d, you can spe cify an ima ge from the scanne r or a file saved with CapturePerf ect. 1 Open the TIFF or PDF file i n which to inse rt the page .

68 Replacing a P age in an Image File You can repl ace a page in a s aved multi -page TIFF or PDF file. For the re placement im age, you can specify an ima ge from the scanner or a file s aved with CapturePer fect. 1 Open the TIFF or PDF file i n which to inse rt the page .
