– 4 – S AFETY C ONCERNS We always recommend you have your Blaupunkt amplifiers professionally installed but the installation process is often so easy that the average consumer can achieve success with little trouble.
– 5 – S YSTEM P LANNING Before wiring up an audio system that may not achieve the sound quality you want, be sure to choose a system concept that fits your listening requir ements. Basic systems, a receiver with internal 4x20 watts and 4 coax speakers, are adequate for many listeners.
VEHICLE FUSING For safety purposes, a high current fuse (or cir cuit breaker) MUST be installed in line with the amplifiers(s) immediately at the battery to prevent vehicle damage should the battery line in advertently shorted to the vehicle chassis.
C ONNECTIONS & C ONTROLS – 7 – REMOTE GAIN CONTROL JACK - For connecting the remote gain contr ol (included). This allows you to adjust the gain while seated in the vehicle with the system operating. LOW P ASS CROSSOVER CONTROL - This control sets the upper frequency limit of the amplifier .
