5 OPERA TION Before using Remove all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
6 Movable shelves The walls of the refrigerator have runners so that shelves can be positioned as desired. Positioning the door shelves T o permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height. T o do this proceed as shown in the diagram.
7 TOO W ARM CCOO2 ZANUSSI Cool Check Guide The guide consists of a temperature sensitive strip sealed in a shelf trim. When the fridge is operating at the safe temperature to store food the guide will appear black. If the temperature rises above this level the guide will show the words T OO W ARM.
8 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING External cleaning Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chemicals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added.
9 Defrosting The refrigerator automatically defrosts every time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tray located at the back of the appliance above the compressor , where it evaporates.
