HARD: Re quires that the keys be played quit e hard t o produc e maximum loud- ness.

YDP-223 Selecting & Playing Voices ENGLISH 26 Co mbining T w o V oices (Dual mode) Y ou can play two voices simultaneously across the entire range of the keyboard. In this way , you can simulate a melody duet or combine two similar voices to create a thicker sound.
YDP-223 Selecting & Playing Voices ENGLISH 27 U sing the M etronome The YDP-223 features a built-in metronome (a device that keeps an accurate tempo) that is conve- nient for practicing. 1. Start the metronome. The metronome sound is turned on by pressing the METRONOME [ST ART/STOP] button.
YDP-223 Recording Your Performance ENGLISH 28 Re co r ding Y our P er for manc e The ability to record and play back what you’ve played on the YDP-223 keyboard can be an effective practice aid. Y ou can, for example, record just the left-hand part, and then practice the right-hand part while playing back the recorded left-hand part.
