1 Intr oduction Chapter 1 contains a description of the G T100E MS and lists the dif ferent operating states available with the G T100E MS Combiner Box.
Introduction 1–2 152602 GT100E MS Combiner Box The G T100E MS combiner box, when installed with dual G T100E s, allows the G T100E Master/Slave configuration to maximize energy production during period s of low irradiance.
Master/Slave Operation States 152602 1–3 If daily role reversal is on, then the configured slave is operational slave on odd days (Janua ry 1,3,5,...) and oper ation al master on even days (January 2,4,6,...). Master U nit The G T100E Master inverter will control the G T10 0E MS Combiner Box via a control cable.
Introduction 1–4 152602 shutdown. The Master inverter will disable the Slave inverter and close the contactor in the G T100E MS Combiner Box. The Master inverter will go online.

Installation 2–4 152602 Mounting Instructions T o mount the MS100E combiner box onto a wall: 1. Install the 4 wall mounting brackets P/N 062- 2000-02 to the rear of the MS100E Combiner box, see Figure 2-2. 2. Anchor the G T100E MS combin er box to the wall using anchor bolts.

Configuration 3–2 152602 Master/Slave Configuration The Master/Slave system can be co nfigured through the Xantrex Solar GUI (Graphical User Inte rface) software, P/N 1-1 52577-01, or thro ugh the Operator Interface Panel. Establish remote or lo cal communication with the G T100E, us ing the Xantrex Solar GUI software.
Master/Slave Configuration 152602 3–3 T o set a unit up as the Slave Unit: 1. Click T ools > Inverter Data > Operational Configuration 2. Check the Co nfigured Master check box Today’s statu.
