6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontro ls Electr ic ignit ors au tomati cally li ght the surfac e burners wh en control knobs are turned t o LIGHT . Before setting a control knob, p lace fil led cookware on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccu pied.

These spi lls may affect th e finish. T o avoi d chippi ng, do not b ang grates and caps agai nst each other or hard surfaces such as cas t iron cookware.
