6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls Electr ic ignitors a utomatically light the surface burners when contr ol knobs are tu rned to LIGHT . Befor e setting a contr ol knob, place filled cookwar e on the g rate. Do not ope rate a burner using emp ty cookwar e or while the grate is unoccu pied.
