3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti-Tip Br acket The range will no t tip during normal use. However , the range can tip if you a pply too much force or weight to the open d oor wit hou t th e anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

ACCUSIMMER™ F eatu re (on some models) The ACCUSIMMER setting is an adjustab le heat setting for more precise simmering.
8 ■ Use pot holders or oven mit ts to remove food. To U s e : 1. Set swit ch to ON. 2. Set swit c h to OFF when finish e d. Ceramic Glass The surface cooking a rea will glow red when an element is on . It will cycl e on and off, at all setti ngs, to mainta in the selec ted heat level .

10 F ahrenheit an d Celsiu s The temperature is prese t at Fahrenheit, bu t can be changed to Cels ius. T o Change: Press and hold CUSTOM BROIL for 5 sec onds. A tone wi ll sound, an d “° C ” will appear on the lo wer oven d isplay for 3 seconds.
11 P ositioning Racks and Bakeware IMPORT AN T : Neve r place food or bakeware directly on the oven door or bottom. Permanent da mage will occur to the por celain finish. RACK S NOTE S: ■ Position racks before turning the oven on. ■ Do not move racks wit h bakeware on t hem.
12 Oven V ent 1. Oven vent The oven vent sh ould not be blocked or cover ed since it allows the release of hot air and moisture from the oven. Doing so will cause poor air circula tion, affecting cookin g and cleani ng results. Never set plast ics, paper or other it ems that co uld melt or burn near the ove n vent.
13 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3 in. (7 cm) or mor e from the broil burn er . Times are guidelines only and may need to be ad justed for individual foods and tast es. Recommended rac k positions are numbe red from the bott om (1) t o the top (4).
14 CONVECT ION ROAS TING CHART Convection Broil 1. Broil element 2. Convection fan During convect ion broiling, the b roil element cycles on and off in interv als to main tain th e oven tempe ratur e, while the fan constantly ci rculates the hot air .

17 Metal marks from aluminum and copper ■ Cooktop Polishing Creme: Clean as s oon as cooktop has cooled down. Rub creme into surface with a damp p aper towel or s oft cloth. Continue rubb ing until white film disapp ears. The ma rks wil l not t otall y disapp ear but a fter many cleanin gs become less not iceable.
18 T o Replace: 1. Hold oven door by the handle and place the top of the door under the cooktop overhang. 2. Use front of leg to apply pressu re to slide hinges into t he slots as far as possible . 3. Use side of leg to apply pressur e to the bott om of the door front.
19 Oven tempe rature too high or t oo low ■ Does the oven temperature calibration need adjustment? See “ Oven T emperat ure Contr ol ” s ection. ■ On some mod els, does the co oling fan run duri ng BAKE, CUSTOM BR OIL or CLEA N? It is normal for the fan to automatical ly run when th e oven is in use.
