3. Turn the Cycle Control knob clockwise to point to the desired cycle. See page 6 for cycle descriptions. You will feel a definite stop at each cycle mark. Water temperature tips Hot water dissolves and activates the dishwashing detergent. Hot water also dissolves grease on dishes and helps dry glasses spot-free. For best dishwashing results, water must be at least 120°F (49°C) as it enters the dishwasher.
Special tips on dishwasher use If you have any doubts about a particular piece of dishware, check with the manufacturer to see if it is dishwasher safe. NOTE: It is the user’s responsibility to determine if dishware should be washed in a dish- washer.
