Operating Your Washer To obtain the best washing results, you must operate your washer properly. This section gives you this important information. Page references are included for more information. Explosion Hazard Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids.

Turn the Load Size selector to the setting that corresponds with the size of your wash load and the type of fabric being washed. l The Load Size selector has 3 load size settings: Small/Quick Wash, Medium, and Large. l To change the load size setting after the washer has started to fill, turn the Selector to the desired new setting.

Adding liquid chlorine bleach Use your washer’s liquid chlorine bleach dispenser to add bleach to the wash load. Always measure liquid chlorine bleach. Do not guess. Never use more than 1 cup (250 mL) for a full load. Use less with lower water level settings.
