DANGERÑIf you will be using the hydrother- apy spa outside, do not bury the power cord; you should also keep the power cord away from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other similar equipment.
5 34. W ARNINGÑT o reduce the risk of injury or drowning: Consult your physician about pos- sible side-effects of any medications you may be taking before using the hydrotherapy spa. Heat from the water , in conjunction with some medications may cause drowsiness and increase the risk of drowning.

Best of all, the DA YBREAK 515 hydrotherapy spa provides the benefits of hydrotherapy in the comfort and privacy of your own home.
7 CHOOSING A LOCA TION FOR THE HYDROTHERAPY SP A There are many factors to consider when choosing a location to set up the hydrotherapy spa. These factors vary depending on whether you use the hydrotherapy spa inside or outside. We have listed several factors you may wish to consider as you decide where you want to use the hydrotherapy spa.
8 SET -UP AND ASSEMBL Y Before beginning assembly , carefully read the following information and instructions: ¥ Place all parts in a cleared area and remove the packing materials from the spa shell; do not dis- pose of the packing materials until assembly is completed and the spa is in operation.
9 3. Wipe out the spa shell using a damp cloth. Remove the two warning decals (not shown) from the spa shell. Before you fill the spa, be sure that it is in the position you want, and that it can be easily ser- viced, if needed. Once the spa is filled with water , it must be drained to be moved.
10 USING THE HYDROTHERAPY SP A The hydrotherapy spa is designed to seat two adults. The ten thera-jets can be regulated to provide a relax- ing massage to sooth away stress, and the strength of the water massage can be adjusted by the air con- trol.
11 A A B B D E A A C A D A B B SP A SHELL DIAGRAM SP A OPERA TION Refer to the diagram above. The function of each component is explained below: The eight uni-directional thera-jets (A) are located on both sides of the spa. Five jets focus the water massage on your upper or lower back.
12 USING THE CONSOLE Refer to the console diagram above. The function of each console control is explained below: T emperature Display: During normal use this display shows the actual water temperature. When the Set T emp indicator is lit, the display shows the set temperature.
13 USING THE DIVERTER The Diverter is located on the other side of the spa from the console. The Diverter controls the flow and intensity of the water through the hydrotherapy jets. Refer to the drawing above. When the diverter is turned to the left, the pump will provide intense hydrotherapy through the eight jets shown above the dotted line.
14 POSTING THE W ARNING SIGN The warning sign, shown below , must be posted on a wall or fence, where all users of the hydrotherapy spa will be able to see it.
15 The hydrotherapy spa is designed to provide you with years of enjoyment. Please follow the guidelines below to properly maintain your hydrotherapy spa. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE DAIL Y ¥ Check the water level and refill the spa to the level shown on page 9, step 3.
16 W A TER CHEMISTR Y The hydrotherapy spa comes with a starter chemical pack for maintaining the water in the spa. (See TEST- ING AND TREA TING THE W A TER on page 10.
17 T o drain the hydrotherapy spa, follow these steps: 1. Set the temperature control on the console to the lowest setting. 2. Shut off the circuit breaker or GFCI. 3. Remove the access cover from the back of the spa unit. 4. Remove the drainage hose from the clip and attach a garden hose to the valve on the drainage hose.
18 CONVERTING THE SP A T O A 240 VOL T POWER SOURCE The hydrotherapy spa is designed to operate with either a 120v or 240v power source. For your conve- nience, it is shipped ready to be plugged directly into a 120v/15 amp home outlet.
19 MAINTENANCE NOTES Maintenance is an important part of keeping your spa in top operational condition. Use the space below to make any special notes you may want to remember for future reference, or to keep a maintenance log.
20 1. SYMPTOM: THE SP A WILL NOT OPERA TE a. Check to see if the GFCI breaker is tripped or was not turned on. Reset the GFCI breaker . b. Make sure the Heater Switch (7), located on the Control Unit (14) inside the pump compart- ment, is in the ÒONÓ position.
21 9. SYMPTOM: THE W A TER LEVEL DROPS a. Some water loss due to evaporation is normal. If rapid water loss occurs, or if you notice wet- ness on the floor around the hydrotherapy spa, then the spa shell may have a leak. Contact your local spa and pool service provider for repairs.
