C-1 Gas Instructions Important LP Cylinder Information F ailure to f ollow these D ANGER statements e xactly may result in a fire causing death or serious injur y . D ANGER NEVER store a spare LP Cylinder under or near this barbecue. NEVER fill the tank bey ond 80% full.
C-2 Gas Instructions P ass regulator through left hole in suppor t panel. W e utilize various LP tank manuf acturers. Some of the tanks hav e differing top collar assemb les. (The top collar is the metal protective ring around the v alve .) One series of tanks mount with the valv e f acing front.
C-3 Gas Instructions Chec k f or gas leaks D ANGER Do not use an open flame to chec k for gas leaks. Be sure there are no sparks or open flames in the area while y ou check f or leaks. Sparks or open flames will result in a fire or explosion, which can cause serious bodily injury or death and damage to pr oper ty .
C-4 Gas Instructions Liquid Propane Cylinder The liquid propane cylinder manuf acturer is responsible f or the materials, workmanship and performance of the tank. If the tank has a def ect malfunctions, or you ha ve a question regarding the tank, call the tank manuf acturer ’ s customer ser vice center .
C-5 Gas Instructions Safe handling tips f or Liquid Propane Gas Cylinders ■ Liquid Propane (LP) gas is a petroleum product as are gasoline and natural gas . LP gas is a gas at regular temperatures and pressures . Under moderate pressure, inside a cylinder , LP gas is a liquid.

D-4 T r oubleshooting Pr oblem Chec k Cure Burner s burn with a y ellow or orange flame, in conjunction with the smell of gas. Inspect W eber ® Insect / Spider screens f or possible instructions . (Blockage of holes .) Clean W eber ® Insect / Spider screens.
D-5 Pr oblem Check Cure Side Burner does not light. Flame is low in HIGH position. Flame is very yello w in conjunction with the smell of gas, OR Burner makes popping noise in conjunction with the smell of gas. Push button ignition does not work. Is gas supply off? T ur n supply on.

E-2 Maintenance Replacing Main Burner s 1) Y our W eber ® gas barbecue must be OFF and cool. 2) T ur n gas OFF at source . 3) T o remov e control panel: take off the b ur ner control knobs. Remove the scre ws holding the control panel in place. Lift off the control panel.
