Sparks or open flames will result in a fire or e xplosion which can cause seri- ous bodil y injur y or death and damage to pr oper ty .
C-4 Reinstall control panel (after c hecking f or gas leaks) (1) Set the control panel in place ov er both sides of the frame. Hold the crossov er ignition button up while setting the control panel in place. (2) Line up the control panel with the white plastic plugs in the frame brace .

D-4 Annual Maintenance After a period of nonuse, we recommend that y ou perf or m the f ollowing maintenance procedures f or y our saf ety . W ARNING: Check the hose bef ore each use of the barbecue for nic ks, cracking, abrasions or cuts. If the hose is found to be dama g ed in an y way , do not use the barbecue.
D-5 General Maintenance Weber Spider Stopper ™ Guards Y our Weber Gas Barbecue, as w ell as any outdoor gas appliance, is a target f or spiders and other insects. They can nest in the v enturi section (V enturi(1), air shutter(2), venturi fin(3) ) of the b ur ner tubes.
D-6 (1) (2) (1) Replacing Main Burners 1) Y our Weber Gas Barbecue must be OFF and cool. 2) T urn gas OFF at source. 3) T o remov e control panel: take off the b ur ner control knobs. Remove the scre ws holding the control panel in place. Lift off the control panel.
D-7 Cr ossover ® Ignition System Operations If the Crossov er Ignition System f ails to ignite the Left burner , light the Left burner with a match. If the Left burner lights with a match, then check the Crosso ver Ignition System. ■ Check that both the white(1) and b lack(2) ignition wires are attached properly .
D-8 T r oub leshooting Pr oblem Check Cure Burners b urn with a yellow or orange flame, in conjunction with the smell of gas. Inspect W eber Spider Stopper Guards f or possib le obstructions. (Blockage of holes .) Clean Weber Spider Stopper Guards. (See Section “ Annual Maintenance ” ) Burner does not light, or flame is low in HIGH position.
