16 16. ECHO CONTROL FOR MIC-1 AND MIC-2 - This controls the amount of ECHO that microphones 1 and 2 will receive. T urn clockwise to increase echo and counterclockwise to decrease echo. 17. NTSC/PAL SELECTOR SWITCH - This switch is used to select the NTSC/P AL setting according to country .
17 Remote contr ol functions Using the Remote Control The CDG-X3P II comes with a handy remote control to allow the user to operate the Karaoke functions from up to twenty-five feet from the unit. The remote control offers the user fast for ward, rewind, skip, search, program- mable memor y , play/pause, open/close for the CD/ CDG tray and stop.
18 Installing the batteries First remove the batter y compar tment lid from the back of a remote control. Inser t two AAA batteries, ensuring that the polarities are aligned correctly . Select the “CDG” button located under the CDG tray before you star t. Follow the instructions for playing a CD/CDG and select the desired “track” (song), but do not star t your song selection yet.
