4 5 1 . Unpacking and Assembly CA UTION: Vibiemme Domobar espresso mac hines are quite heavy . The shipping w eight is around 84 pounds! We recommend get ting assistance whenever the mac hine has to be moved or relocated. Open the box and carefully remo ve the mac hine.
6 7 T o replace the Cup Warmer T ray , hold it at a sloping angle with the front edge low er then the rear . Lo wer the front edge in place, and then low er the back edge until it hooks the bac k edge of the machine. Ret urn the shipping materials, pac king , plastic bags, padding, and boxes to their original locations and sav e them.

Because the majority of espresso is water , it should come as no surprise that quality water is important to the t aste of the espresso. A dditionally , using the wrong water can e ventually cause problems f or your mac hine and even cause part f ailures.
10 11 3.1 . Using the W ater Reserv oir The Vibiemme Domobar super 2B is set b y the manufacturer to dra w water from the wat er reservoir . T o access the reser voir , use the t wo handles to lif t the Cup Warming T ray of f the machine and place the co ver aside.
12 13 4. Start up Locate the P ortafilt er y ou wish to use. Y our mac hine came with t wo- a smaller , single portafilter as well as the larger , double portafilter . The single is meant to create about one ounce of espresso at a time, and the double creates about two ounces- a double.
14 15 4.3. Star t up: gr ouphead The Vibiemme Domobar is manual in its function with only one switc h controlled by a le ver on the grouphead itself . The Manual Control Le ver is on the right side of the E- 61 Grouphead in its at-rest position. This is where the lev er should be whenever the mac hine is not brewing espresso.
16 17 5. First use of machine F or this rst use of the Vibiemme Domobar , once the pressure is above about 0.5 you should ush the boiler to be sure that the mac hine is working properly .
18 19 6. T emperat ur e Adjustment Cof fee boiler temperat ure can be adjusted through the Display on the push-but ton panel of the Vibiemme Domobar Super 2B. Once the P ower S witch is on position II, the Displa y shows the word OFF . • Press the ON but ton until the display reads the pre-set temperature v alue.
