INSTALLATION (continued) INSTALLING THE GRIDDLE Refer to the nameplate. Verify the fuel type and pressure, which must match the nameplate specifications. Conne cting the griddl e to the wrong fuel type and/or pressure will compromise the safety and/or performance of the appliance.

Make sure the supply pipin g sy stem has been pressure tested before the regulator and griddle ar e connected.

INITIAL ADJUSTMENT (continued) PREPARING THE GRIDDLE SURFACE SEASONING STANDARD GRIDDLES As manufactured, the steel surface of your Wells griddle has microscopic pores. It is important to fill these pores with oil in order to provide a hard, non-stick cooking surface.
OPERATION GENERAL OPERATIONAL NOTES Carefully read the description of the griddle operation on the specification sheet. Do NOT use this appliance if it has been subm erged in water.
