Prior to Inst allation • Check the appliance for transport damage. Under no circumstance should a damaged appliance be installed. In the event of damage please contact your retailer . Inst allation • This appliance is heavy . Care should be taken when moving it.
Servicing • This product should be serviced by an authorised engineer and only genuine spare part s should be used. • Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Repairs carrier out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning.

The quick-freezing function can be ended manually at any time by pressing the b utton ➃ ➃ again. The yellow light goes out. This time can be shortened, depending on the quantity of food to be frozen.
Ice making The appliance is provided with one or more tra ys for ice-cubes tra ys. Fill the tra y(s) 3/4 full to give the ice space to e xpand and place them in the freezer compartment. T o release the ice cubes simply give the tra y a slight twist. Do not use sharp or metallic instr uments to remov e the tra ys from the freezer .
7 Defrosting The freezer compartment will become progressively covered with frost. This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whenever the thickness of the frost exceeds 1/4". During this operation it is not necessary to switch off the power supply or to remove the foodstuffs.
8 When the appliance is not in use When the appliance is not in use for long periods, disconnect from the electricity supply , empty all foods and clean the appliance, leaving the door ajar to prevent unpleasant smells.
9 If after the above checks, there is still a fault, call your local Service Force Centre. In-guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been made as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is not a mechanical or electrical breakdown.

18 Fitting the plinth Important For the efficient operation of the appliance, it is important that the original ventilation grid is used. • For an opening height dimension A=820 mm and a plinth height dimension a=100 mm, the plinth may be fitted without adjustments.
