4 5. Photo r esolution / video size icon: (a) In ca mera mode, HI stands for 8 M ega Pixels , and in video recording mode, it stands for FHD (1920x1080, 30fps). (b) In ca mera mode, LO stands for 5 M ega Pixels, and in video recording mode, it stands for HD (1280x720, 30fps).
5 Introducti on of working m odes There are four modes as in the following chart. Continuous shooting m ode and self - timer mode are to be controlled by the cell phone.
6 Video recording mod e an d photo m ode f low c hart After the camera is turned on, you can short press the Power/Mode button to switch between modes by the following order .
7 Prep arat ion 1. Insert a micro SD or micro SDHC card. 1. Please use memory cards with speeds faster than Class 4. 2. The camera supports m emory cards up to 32GB. 3. Please make sure the memory card is inserted by correction direction. 4. Make sure the cameras is of f when inserting or removing the me mo ry card.
8 2. Battery 2.1 I nstall the battery First please m ake sure that t he camera is off when inserting or removing the battery. St e p 1 St e p 2 St e p 3 St e p 4 Step 1 : Slide up t he battery cover switch ( ) to open the battery cover . Step 2 & S te p 3: Insert the lithium batter y into the battery compartment .
9 2.2 Charging the battery (a) Make sure that the camera is switched of f (If the camera is being switched on, the battery will not be cha rge d). (b) Connect the camera with the PC via the USB cable to start battery char ging . The charger indicator will be lit in blue color while charging and will go off when charging is completed.
10 2. Turn off the cam era : Lon g press the button for about 3 seconds until the status LCD displays “ OFF ” and a beep sound is heard . Note: The camera will be automatically shut down to save power after the cam era is being idle for 5 minutes.
11 S ta rt to U s e 1. Vid e o rec or di ng mod e T o record a video, make sure the camera is under video recording mode which the icon is displayed on the status LCD. If not, short press the button repeatedly until the icon appears. S tart recording: Press the button, the icon and th e [ : ] displayed on the LCD will flash.
12 Note: When the microSD card is memory full or the battery i s drained, the recording will stop automatically . The recorded video will be saved before the camera goes of f. 2. Photo mode T o take a photo, make sure the camera is under photo mode which the icon is displayed on the status LCD.
13 3 . Mute / acti vate sound The sound is enabled by default. In th e video recording mode or photo mode, long press the shutter button to mute sound . T he icon will be display ed on the status LCD when the sound is being muted. Long press the shutter button again will activate the sound.
14 Note: B efore connecting or removing the HDMI cable, please stop video recording and disconnect the Wi - Fi connection..
15 In Playback mode, short press the power /mode button to switch between photos and videos. When there are several photos or videos, press the W i - Fi button to select the desired photo or video. When a video clip is selected, press the s hutter button to start the playback and press the s hutter button again to stop the playback.
16 In Playback mode, long press the s hutter button and a prompt for file deletion and m emory formatting will appear . Press the W i - Fi button to switch between file deleting and memory formatting . Press the p ower button to select Y ES or N O and press the s hutter button to confirm and ex it.
17 5 . Con nectin g to PC and usi ng PC camera f eature 5 .1 T urn on the camera and connect it to PC by the US B cable and the camera will enter the PCU mode. The saved photos and video clips can be found in the following folder: “ My Computer Rem ovable Disc ”.
18 Note: When the camera is connected to your PC you will see the internal m e mory of the camera where it is not possible to make recordings, but that contains a file named SSID_PW .CFG that contains the configuration data for the Wi - Fi cam era (SS ID name and password).
19 Remote C ont rol Y ou can use the remote control ler to record video s, take photos and shut down the camera . When using the remote control , please make sure that the signal emission port on the remote control is pointing to the infrared signal reception light on the camera.

21 Using Wi - Fi 1. Android O/S (a) Search for “ SYM AG IX AP P ” from “Play Store®” on your cell phone and install it . When the installation is completed, this icon will show on the cell phone ’ s screen . (b) Insert the m icr oSD /microSDHC card in the camera ’ s memory card slot.
