11 CONNECTING YOUR TV English Connecting a computer With either an RGB/PC or an HDMI connection, you can watch your comp uter’s display on the television. When connecting a PC to the RGB/PC t erminal on the television, use an analogue RGB (15-pin) computer cable.

13 CONNECTING YOUR TV English Controls and input connections A wide variety of external equipment can be connected to the input sock ets on the side of the television. While all the necessary adjustments and controls for the television are made usi ng the remote control, the buttons on the telev ision may be used for some functions .
14 English SETTING UP YOUR TV Startup Application Before switching on the TV, m ake sure your decoder/media recorder, if applicable, i s in standby . To set up the television, use the buttons on the remote control as detailed on page 8. a Press the 1 button.

16 SETTING UP YOUR TV English NOTE: As new services are broadcast, it will be necessary to re-tune the television in order to view th em. Auto Tuning will completely re-tune the televisi on and can be used to update th e channel list. It is recommended that Auto Tuning is run periodically to en sure that all new services are added .

We suggest Pos. 0 for a media recorder. c Press OK to select. If the channel chosen for the medi a recorder is set to skip, Skip should be removed before storing.

28 CONTROLS AND FEA TURES English Widescreen viewing Depending on the type of broadcast being transmi tted, programmes can be viewed in a number of formats. SUBTITLE SUBTITLE SUPER LIVE This setting will enlarge a 4:3 image to fit the screen by stretching the image horizontally and vertically, holding better proportions at the centre of the image.

If you want to use this TV as a DLNA CERTIFIED™ Player, you will have to configure the network on your TV (see page 12).
