4 ELECTRICAL SAFETY • NOTE - This appliance must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electric shoc k by providing a path of least resistance of electrical current. You will be able to tell if it is because a non-grounded appliance will give off an electrical discharge.

6 UPON DELIVERY: When your Fridge-Freezer has been delivered, you will need to wait approximately 3 hours before turning it on. The fluid of the compressor inst alled in the appliance will need time to settle. PL EASE DO NOT PLUG IN ANY EARLIER THAN THIS! NOTE : THERE CAN BE AN ODOUR WHEN YOU FIRST SWITCH ON THE APPLIANCE.
7 PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE DISPLAY PAN EL AT THE TOP OF THE UNIT (ILLUSTRATED BELOW). YOU SWITCH ON YOUR APPLIANCE by PLUGGING IT IN & SETTING THE REGULATING DEVICE (Electronic Thermostat) On the outside door of the appliance: YOUR APPLIANCE HAS 3 FIXED SETTINGS : NORMAL, ENERGY SAVING AND QUICK FREEZE.
8 Your Fridge-Freezer’s fully electronic thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the compartments. ADJUST TEMPERATURE MODE : In this mode, you can adjust the setting temperature freely and independently for the fridge and the freezer compartments.
9 • The ambient temperature, temperature of freshly stored food as well as how often the door is opened will affect the temperature of the freezer and the refrigerator. Refrigerator Compartment : • To reduce humidity and the consequent increase of frost, NEVER place liquids in unsealed containers in the refrigerator.
10 o Quantity of food stored in the compartments o The location of your appliance Freezer Compartment • Your freezer’s chief function is to allow you to store deep-frozen or frozen foods for long periods of time, and to make ice cubes. • DO NOT put warm food into the freezer.
11 • Use the fast freezing shelf (the middle drawer of the freezer) to freeze home cooking • ALWAYS Cover and wrap foods, especially if they are PUNGENT. • DO NOT place paper or plastic on the shelves which would block the flow of air through the grids.
