9 Chapter 2: H ardwar e Setup Start U p Your DiskStation 1 Use the LAN cable to connect DiskStatio n to your sw itch/router/hub. 2 Connect on e end of the power cord to t he pow er port of your DiskStation , and the ot her to t he power out let. 3 Press and hold the p ower button to tur n on your DiskSta tion .
