Setup 11 SwannEy e IP Camera 6. Using the S wannEy e Search T ool on the local network Double click the SwannEy e Search T ool icon on the desktop and the SwannEy e Search T ool window will open. The SwannE ye Search T ool will search your network for an y IP cameras and devices.

IP Cong This page is used to congur e the net work settings. Set IP Automatically (Rec ommended) : Check this box to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server .
Setup 14 SwannEy e IP Camera IP Address : The IP address assigned to the camera. If you ar e not having this automatically assigned by a DHCP server , you will need to manually enter in a valid static IP that is available on y our network . The rst sections match the rst three sections of your subnet.
Setup 15 SwannEy e IP Camera 7. Ac cessing the camera from the L ocal Area Network (LAN) The ‘S wannEye Search T ool’ shows the IP addr ess+por t number for your camera on the Local Ar ea Net work (LAN).
Setup 16 SwannEy e IP Camera 7.1. Username and passw ord When the login screen appears, enter the username and password . By default, there is an Administr ator account already set up in the camera. The default Administrat or account name is : admin and the password is 123456 .

Device S tatus In addition to the IP camera you are ac cessing, you can link a further eight cameras to the interface and view and control them all from the one in ter face. The Device Settings section displays the current status of the camera y ou are curently viewing , along with icons for all nine cameras.

Y ou can click on the directional pad to move the camera up/down and left/right. Pr ess the Center button (curled arrow) t o return the camera to its original dir ec tion.

30 SwannEy e IP Camera Administra tor 8.4.7. Network: W ireless Settings This sets up wireless LAN cr edentials so that the camera can connect to a network router via WiFi. Note : T o access the camera through WiF i, you need to set it up through this page while connected to the camera through a wir ed connection.
