Programming The Change Filter Reminder Display Y our new spa may be equipped with a programmable “Change Filter” reminder that appears on the control panel display after a specified number of days. It is designed to remind you to clean and/or replace your filter cartridge(s) on a regular basis but does not affect spa operation in any way .

880 W aterfall Control V alve (2005+ Optima & Cameo) T urn valve counterclockwise to increase waterfall output. T urn clockwise to decrease or turn off waterfall output. Note: it takes 4 full revolutions to change the waterfall from a full off to a full on flow rate.
Replacement MicroClean II filter cartridges may be purchased from your Sundance dealer . An optional pleated filter cartridge is also available from your Sundance dealer . This filter can be cleaned and reused for up to two years but does not maintain the same water quality and clarity as the stan- dard MicroClean II cartridge.

3.0 Locating Y our Sundance Hot T ub IMPORT ANT: Because of the combined w eight of the hot tub, wat er and users, it is extr emely impor tant that the base upon which the hot tub r ests be smooth, flat , lev el and capable of uniformly suppor ting this w eight , without shifting or settling , for the en tire time the hot tub is in place.
If y ou ha ve an y questions r egarding the placemen t or installation of your hot tub, consult y our authoriz ed Sundance Dealer. 4.0 Gener al Electrical Saf e ty Ins tructions Y our new Sundance hot tub is equipped with the "stat e-of-the-ar t" Sentr y TM equipmen t system.
Befor e installing this hot tub, check with the local gov ernmen t/electrical authority to insur e installation conforms to local coun tr y/area stat es codes .

• Fill the hot tub until the w ater le vel is midwa y in the filter buck et skim- mer opening and abov e all jets . Do not o verfill. Impor tant: Alwa ys fill your hot tub thr ough the filter buck et aft er dr aining . Failur e to do so may cause air t o be trapped in either pump, pr ev enting the pump fr om circulating water .
When pow er is turned on, the spa defaults to S T ANDARD mode. In ST AND ARD mode, the skimming/heating cy cle will activat e pump 1 as pr ogrammed to pr ovide skimming action and additional filtr ation. In ECONOMY mode, the skimming/heating cy cle will not come on.
8.0 Oper ating Ins tructions Y our Sundance hot tub has a touch-sensitiv e con tr ol panel, massage selector v alv es and air contr ol knobs located on the t op rim of the hot tub (Figure-F , page 1 4). These con tr ols let y ou oper ate man y of the special functions of y our Sundance hot tub.
8.5 Jets 2 - On models with two je t pumps , JETS 2 con tr ols the high-speed pump #2. Au to T urn Of f — An ytime a pump has been manually turned on, it will automatically turn of f after appr o ximately 2 0 minutes . If at this time y ou desir e more je t oper ation y ou may simply turn the pump(s) back on.

8.6 Selecting The Desired Massage Action Y our Sundance spa is equipped to allow y ou to customiz e the massage action y ou desir e . Each model incorpor ates a div er ter v alv e(s) that allow y ou to customiz e the mas- sage and per formance by diver ting wat er betw een various jet syst ems .
8.8 Air Contr ols Each jet syst em has its own air con trol. These con trols allo w you to r egulate the amoun t of air which is mix ed with the wat er ent ering thr ough the jets . Clockwise rotation adds mor e air and coun terclockwise r ota- tion r educes air flow .

9.2 Standard Skimming/Heating Mode In this mode, 2-stage wat er filtration is achie ved by activ ating pump 1 for the pr ogrammed skimming/heating cy cle. W ater temper atur e is r egulated by the set t emperatur e, 2 4-hour circulation pump, and heater which turns on as needed .
1 0.0 Programming Instructions 1 0.1 Adjusting Time o f Day The Sen tr y contr ol system r emembers the time of day e ven in the e v en t of a pr olonged pow er outage.
At any time, y ou may check the pr ogramming of an y aspect of the skimming/heating cy cle by first pr essing CY CLE then moving thr ough the menu by pr essing either CY CLE or SELECT. The progr amming is changed only by pr essing UP or DOWN during this process .

11 .0 Hot T ub Maintenance Pr oper and regular main tenance of y our hot tub will help it re tain its beauty and per formance . Y our authorized Sundance Dealer can supply y ou with all the information, supplies, and accessor y products y ou will need to accom- plish this .

11 .4 Pillow Care Remov e and clean the headr est pillows as needed with soapy w ater using a cloth or soft-bristle brush. T o maintain w ater r esistance and luster , apply a quality vin yl conditioner once a month. Alwa ys r emov e the pillows when adding chemical shock tr eatment to the hot tub w ater .
11 .7 Maintaining The Cov er Using the Sundance insulating hot tub cov er an ytime the hot tub is not in use will significan tly r educe your oper ating costs , heat-up time and maint enance r equiremen ts . T o prolong the life of the co ver , handle it with car e and clean it r egularly using mild soap and water .

1 2.0 Water Quality Main tenance Main taining the quality of the wat er within specified limits will ser v e to enhance y our enjo yment and pr olong the life of the hot tub's equipment . It is a fairly simple task, but it r equires r egular atten tion because the water chemistr y inv olved is a balance of se ver al factors .
12 .3 Other Additives Man y other additives ar e a vailable for y our hot tub. Some are necessar y to compensate for out-of-balance w ater , some aid in cosmetic w ater tr eatmen t and others simply alter the feel or smell of the w ater . Y our Authoriz ed Sundance Dealer can advise y ou on the use of these additiv es .
