6 3. Quick Inst allation Guide The DVR-16/IP is equipped with a mobile rack, the HDD is hot-swapp able. Y ou can exchange the HDD when the HDD is full. The following figur es illustrate how to install HDD into the removable cartridge. Step1: Pull the active-handle outwards and unlock with the miniature key provided (Figure 1).

This item will be restored to the default setting “No” automatically after you power of f and on the DVR.

30 7.2 Download the Sof tware T o process recorded video on your computer , you need to download DVR Windows application software first. Af ter Window AP has been installed, you can now connect the swappable HDD to your computer and proc ess the recorded video.
31 7. Playback Press this button to play the recor ded video, and press it again to pause. 8. Go to Begin Press this button to go to the first image of the recorded video. 9. Fast Rewind Press this button to play the recorded video in reverse direction.
32 8. DVR-16IP Remote Access of V ideo over the Web This section discusses the remote control ability of DVR-16/IP; it is an option al function. Users are able to access live and recoded video from remote site throu gh Internet with Ethernet port connected.
33 4. Direction buttons 4.1 If the “Pan/ T ilt” (che ck box) is enabled (default), these but tons are used to pan/ tilt the connected dome cameras.
34 9.1 Server Y ou can set the server settings in this menu. 9.1.1 General Users can set the general server settings here in this sub-menu (Figure 2). The MAC address will be detected and shown on the test box automatically .
