1 VPL-FX30 1. Overview 1-1. Introduction The projector is remotely controllable over RS-232C as well as Ethernet. It is useful for setting up the projector away from the operator . This protocol manual describes the speci fi cations such as packet format and procedures for controlling the projector .

Communication is started by the issue of a command at CONTROLLER and ended when the return data is sent to CONTROLLER after DEVICE receives the command.
