32 Using Network Features B Network Using Network Features Connectio n to the network allo ws you to oper ate the follo wing feature s: • Check ing the current stat us of the proje ctor via a W eb browser . • Remot ely contro lling the pro jector via a W eb browser .

34 Using Network Features Y ou can control the projector fro m the comput er on th e Contro l page . The func tions of th e b utton s sho wn in the operatio n area are the same as the keys on the re mote co mmande r . Set the e- ma il re port func tio n on the Se tup page.
35 Using Network Features Network Requires the use of POP A uthenti cation bef or e sending em ail (POP bef or e SMTP): Ch eck this check box to arrange for POP authenticatio n to b e perform ed before send ing e-ma il. Incomin g Mail Server (POP3): Enter the address o f the in coming-mai l server (POP3) to be used for P OP authentica tion.
36 Using Network Features T o use the wi reless LAN net work, a USB wireless LAN mo dule IFU-WLM3 (n ot supplied) is necessary . 1 Click the [WLAN Setting] to open the WLAN Setting page. 2 Enable or disable the radio wav e output of USB wireless LAN module.

When the US B wireless LAN module is activ a ted as a clien t, set the items for the client (set the it ems for the access poi nt the proj ector tries t o conn ect to). 56 Replacing the Lamp Replacing th e Lamp Replace the lamp with a new one if a message d isplayed on the project ed image (pa ge 53). Use an LMP-E212 projector la mp (not suppli ed) for replacem ent. • The lamp remains hot aft er the pr ojector i s turned of f.
57 Replacing the Lamp Others 4 Insert the new lamp all the way in until it is securely in place. T ighten the 2 screws. 5 Close the lamp cover and tighten the 1 screw . The po wer will not turn on if the lamp is not secu red pr operly . 6 Connect the A C po wer cord to a wall outlet and turn on the projector .
58 Cleaning the Air Filter Cleaning th e Air Filter When a me ssage appea rs on the p rojected image indic ating ti me for a f ilter c leaning, clean the air f ilter (pages 52, 53). If the dust cannot be removed from the air filter e ven after cleaning, repl ace the air filter with a new one.
