18 US Basic hookups Plug the D VD-VCR into a n A C outlet. The D V D-VCR automatically pres ets the DVD-VCR’ s clock and TV channels whe n the D VD-VCR is plugged into the A C outlet. The D VD-VCR starts presetting the clock an d channel s. When Auto preset is complete d, the current time a ppears in the display window .

24 US Sett ing t he clock Notes • The clock can not be set au tomatic ally if you do not receive a channe l that ca rries a tim e signal in your area. If so, set the cloc k manual ly (page 24 ). • If the re are on ly a few channels in your area that carry tim e signals, set ting the c lock automat ically m ay take u p to abou t 20 min utes.
