15 GB Getting Started Hooking up the system securely Antennas Find a location and an orientation that provide good reception when you set up the antennas. Keep the antennas away from the speaker cords, the AC power cord (mains lead) and the USB cable to avoid picking up noise.

30 GB Transferring music You can transfer music from a sound source to a USB de vice co nnected to the (USB) 2 port. The audio format of fi le s transferred by this system is MP3. However, you can also transfer WMA and AAC files from USB 1. Do not remove the USB device duri ng transfer or erase operations.

34 GB To change the AM t uning interval (Except for European and Russian models) The default setting for AM tuning interval is 9 kH z (or 10 kHz for some areas). You cannot change the AM tuning interval in Power Saving Mode. Use the buttons on the unit to perform this operation.

41 GB Other Opera tions Using the Party Chain function You can connect multiple audio systems in a chain to create a more interesting party environment and to produce higher s ound output. Activate a system in the chain to be the “Party Host” and share the music.

If the problem persists , consult your nearest Sony dealer. Note that if the service personnel changes some parts during rep air, these parts may be retained.
47 GB Additional Informa tion The remote control does not function. Remove the obstacles between the remote control and the unit. Move the remote control cl oser to the unit . Point the remote control at the unit’s sensor. Replace the batteries (R03/size A AA).
