Adj usting bright ness, contrast, and so on, i mproves the visibility o f the viewfinder screen.

77 Playbac k Chapter 3 Record ing and Pla yback Deteriorating pl a yback conditions Deteriorati ng playback may be due to the fol lowing causes. • Scratches and dust on the disc surface This includes fing erprints, dust from the air, tar from cigarette smok e, and so on.
78 Thumbnai l Search Chapter 3 Recordi ng and Pla yback Thumbnail Searc h Sear ching Using Thumb nails To display the thumbnail im ages of all c lips on the disc, and cue up a desired clip, proc eed as follows. 1 With the SUB CLIP indicator off, press the THUMBNAIL button to turn the THUMBNA IL indi cator on.
