17 Suppressing the skip of the sound (G-PRO TECTION) The G-PRO TECTION func tion was developed to provide a hi gher level of shoc k re sista nce than that o f existing p layers in order to allo w the recorder to be used while jo gging. 33 What is a Net MD? Net MD is a stand ard tha t enables th e transf er of audio data from a compute r to a MiniDisc de vice. T o use this Net MD wi th your computer requires a so ftware applic ation called “Son icSt age”.
