5 CARRYING THE TV Carry the TV in the specified manner To avoid dropping the TV and causing serious injury, be sure to follow these guidelines: s Before carr ying the TV, disconnect a ll cables. s Carrying the large size T V requires two or more people.
6 Wall-mount use s Wall-mount installation requir es the use of a Wall-M ount Bracket. W hen installin g or removing the TV and the Wall-Mount Bracket, be s ure to use qualified contractors. If not properly secured during installatio n or removal from the Wall-Moun t Bracket, the TV may f all and cause serio us inju ry.
7 LCD SCREEN s Although the L CD screen is made with hi gh-precision technology and has effective pixels of 99.99% or m ore, black dots or b right points of light (red, blue, or green) may appear constantly on the LCD screen. This is a structural property of the LCD panel and is not a malfunction.

Getting Started 13 Getting Started Cable Syst em and VHF/UHF Antenna System If you wan t to watch both antenna (o ver- the-air) and cable broadcast signals, you’ ll need to use an option al A-B RF switch (not supplie d), as sh own below . Getting Started 18 2 Secure the TV to the Stand . Use the optional hardware listed below (not supplied): • M6 × 12-18mm anchor bolt (scre wed into the TV’ s T able-T op Stand). • A screw or similar (attach it to the TV stand). • Rope or chain (s trong enough to support t he weight of the TV).

Getting Started 20 Setting Up the Channel Li st - Initial Setup After yo u fi nish connecting your TV , you need to run Initial S etup , which automatically sets up av ailable channels. The Initial S etup screen appears when you t urn on your TV fo r the firs t time.
