If the mains lead is damaged, it may result in a fire or an electric shock. – Unplug the mains lead when moving the T V set. – When you disconnect the m ains lead, disconnect it from the mains socket first.

It may cause overheating and result in a fire. • Unless proper ventilation is provided, the T V set may gather du st and get dirty. For proper ventilation, observe the following: – Do not install the TV set turned backwards or sideways.

10 GB Precautions Viewing the TV • To view the TV comfortabl y, the recommended view ing position is from four to seven time s the screen’s vertical length away from the TV set. • To obtain a clear picture, do not expose the screen to direct illumination or direct sunlight.

23 GB Using MENU Functions Ti me r Sets the timer to turn on/off the TV. • Sleep Timer Sets a period of time after which the TV automatically switches itself into standby mode. When the Sleep Timer is activa ted, the (Timer) indicator on the TV (front) lights up in orange.

Auto Start-up Starts the “first time operation menu” to se lect the language and country/region, and tune in all available digi tal and analogue channels.
