10 Using the LCD Pan el The LCD pa nel of the play er can rotat e a maximum of 180 deg rees cloc kwise and still be used . After rotat ion of the L CD pan el, it can be folded down o n the main body o f the player and s till func tion. Rotating the LCD panel 1 Place the player on a tabl e or othe r flat stab le su rface.

17 Playin g Discs Resuming playb ack from the point wher e you stopped the disc (Resume Play) When you stop playbac k, the play er remembers th e stop poin t and dis plays a mess age on th e scre en. You can resu me from the same point by pressing H agai n.
18 Changing the sound When playing a DVD VIDEO recorded i n multiple a udio formats (PCM, Dolby Di gital, or DTS ), you c an chan ge the a udio fo rmat. I f the DVD VIDEO is re corded wi th mult ilin gual trac ks, yo u can als o chan ge the langua ge.

20 Using the Pl ayba ck Setti ngs Disp lay While playi ng a DVD, you can che ck the curren t playb ack se ttings on the scre en. The Playba ck Sett ings Disp lay al so allow s you to chan ge sound, su btitle, and angl e or search for a title or track by inputting numbers.
21 Playin g Discs Notes • The displayed ti tle/chapt er number is t he same as the num ber reco rded on t he disc. • De pending on th e disc, you may not be ab le to use the ti me code. Playing a DVD VIDEO repeatedly (Repeat Play) You can play all of th e titles o n a DVD VIDEO, or a single ti tle or chapter repe atedly.
22 Search ing f or a Parti cular Point on a Disc (Search, Sc an, Sl ow Play, Repeat Play , Random P lay) You can qu ickly loca te a particula r point on a disc by mo nitorin g the pict ure or play ing back slo wly. 23 Playin g Discs Watching frame by frame (Slo w Pla y) Press m or M when th e play er is in pau se mode. To return to nor mal spee d, pres s H . Each time yo u press m or M during Slow Play, the playbac k spee d changes .
24 Checking the play information of the disc When pl aying a D VD Press DISPLAY while p laying a DVD, and then use the Play back Setti ngs Dis play (pag e 20). When pl aying a C D Press DISPLAY. The playing track number/th e total number of tracks and the ela psed tim e of the cu rren t trac k ap pear.
