17 Getting start ed Setting th e clock • The camera does not have a feature for super imposing dates on im ages. By usin g “PMB” in the CD-ROM (supp lied), you can print or save images with the date.

25 Using shooting functions Focusing on a specific point of the frame Simply to uch the poi nt of t he frame y ou wish to focus on to chan ge the fo cus posi tion. Focusing on the face of the s ubject (Face Detection) The cam era detect s the fa ce of the sub ject and fo cuses on it.
26 Selecting the image size to mat ch the usage The image s ize determine s the siz e of the image fi le that is record ed when you take a image. The larger the image si ze, the more detail will be reproduced when the image is printe d on larg e-for mat paper .

37 Deleting images Deleting all im ages (Format) You ca n delete al l data stored on “Mem ory Stick Duo” or the intern al memory . If a “Mem ory Stick Duo” is ins erted, all data stored on the “M emory St ick Duo” are deleted. If no “Memory Sti ck Duo” is inserted , all data sto red in the internal me mory are delet e d.

41 Connecting to other devices x Installing the “PMB” (supplied) You can install the so ftware (suppli ed) using the following procedur e. When you install “PMB ,” “Musi c Transfer ” is also ins talled. • Log on as Administr ator. 1 Check your computer enviro nment.
42 x Importing images to your computer using “PMB” • Do not disconnec t the cable for multi- use terminal from the camera while the camera is operating or while “Acce ssing…” appears on the screen of the camera . Doing so may corrupt th e data.
