One T ouch DVD Burn (p. 80) Y ou can sav e a reco rded imag e on a DVD wi th a simple tou ch. Images that hav e not bee n sav ed to a D VD with One T ouch DVD Burn can automaticall y be sa v ed.
12 Image s are recorded on the internal hard disk. Whe n the hard disk be comes full, you c annot record new image s. It is recomm ended that you sav e th e image data pe riodically, the n delete unnece ssary images fro m the hard d isk of your camcorde r .

19 Ge tting Start ed T o turn off the power Slide the PO WER switch to OFF (CHG). Put the lens ca p back after tu rning off the power (DCR -SR30E/SR40E ). • At the time of purcha se, the power will be set to turn off automatically if you leave your camcorder without any operation for approximately fi ve minutes, to sav e battery power ([A.
20 Open the LCD screen 90 d egrees to t he camcord er ( 1 ), then rota te it to the best angle to recor d or play ( 2 ). • Be careful not to press t he buttons on the LCD frame accidentally , when you open or adjust th e LCD sc reen .
21 Ge tting Start ed Y ou can pl ay ba ck recor ded imag es (p. 27, 30), or change the settings (p.44 ) using the touch pa nel. T ouch t he b utto ns di spla yed on the s cree n. Support the r ear of the LCD pane l with y our finger . Then, touch th e butt ons displayed on the screen.
22 Set the dat e and time whe n using this camcord er for the first time. If you do not set the dat e and time, the [CLOCK SET] scre en appears every t ime you turn on your camcor der or sli de the PO WE R switch.
23 Ge tting Start ed By record ing in the 16:9 (w ide) mode , you can enjoy wide -angle, high-re solution images. • If you intend to view images on a wide TV , recording in the 16:9 (wide) mode is recommended. 1 Slide the PO WER switch in the directi on of the arr ow to light up the (Movie) lamp.
