Getting Started 23 GB Before connecting the AC power cords (mains leads) of this system and the surround amplifier to a wall outlet (mains), connect the front and center speak ers to the system and surround speakers to the surround amplifier (page 14).

Getting Started 25 GB Hanging the IR transmitter and IR re ceiver on a wall You can hang t h e IR tra nsmitter and IR receiver on a wall when: – th ere is an obstru ctio n betwe en the IR trans mitte r and th e IR rece iver . – people often p ass bet w een the IR transmitter and the IR receiver.

Getting Started 27 GB After c ompleting th e first 5 steps, m ake initia l settings using th e Quick Setu p. You can set the in itial setting of [ LANGUAGE SETUP], [ROOM SIZE], [LISTENING POSITION], and [TV TYPE] step by step. After p erforming the Qu ic k Setup, t he system is ready for play ing back of movi es, music CDs, etc.

Play ing D iscs 33 GB A DVD is divid ed into a l o t of sec tions, which make up a pictu re or music fe ature . These sectio ns are ca lled “t itles.” When you play a DVD which conta ins severa l titles, you can select t he title y ou want using DVD TOP MENU/ALBUM–.

36 GB You ca n play JPE G ima ge files on CD-RO Ms, CD-Rs, or CD-RWs. However, th e disc s must be recor ded acc ording to ISO9 660 Lev el 1, Lev el 2 or J oliet format for the syst em to reco gniz e th e files. You can a lso pla y disc s recor ded in Multi Session.
Play ing D iscs 37 GB When the list of al l files or album s cannot be di splaye d on t he w indo w, t he ju mp ba r appears . Pres s c to select the jump bar icon, and then scroll the jump b ar to dis p lay the rest of the list using X / x . Press C or O RETURN to return to the file or the album list.
