6 Getting Started AM loop antenna 1 Remove the rear cover. Push in on the tabs and pull up the cover 2 Connect the speakers. Connect the speaker cords to the SPEAKER terminals as shown below. Lined Clear Hooking up the system Perform the following procedure 1 to 6 to hook up your system using the supplied cords and accessories.

12 Presetting radio stations You can preset 20 stations for FM and 10 stations for AM. 1 Press TUNER/BAND (or TUNER BAND on the remote) repeatedly to select “ FM ” or “ AM ” . 2 Press TUNING MODE on the remote repeatedly until “ AUTO ” appears.

18 Precautions (continued) T roubleshooting If you have any problem using this system, use the following checklist. First, check that the power cord is connected firmly and that the speakers are connected correctly and firmly. Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Additional Information 19 The timer does not function. • Press CLOCK/TIMER SELECT on the remote to set the timer and light up “ DAILY ” in the display (see page 16). • Check the set contents and set the correct time (see page 16). • Cancel the Sleep Timer function (see page 15).
