AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Accessing the Product Access from the Internet Once connected, the Axis product is accessible on your local network (LAN). To access the product from the Internet you must congure your network router to allow incoming data trafc to the product.

Consequently, some of the examples and functions featured here may differ from those displayed in your own Live View page.
AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Accessing the Product The Play button connects to the Axis product and starts playing a media stream. The Stop button stops the media stream. The Snapshot button takes a snapshot of the video image. The location where the image is saved can be specied in the AMC Control Panel.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Media Streams The AMC Control Panel can be used to congure various video settings. Please see the AXIS Media Control User’s Manual for more information. The AMC Control Panel is automatically installed on rst use, after which it can be congured.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Setting Up the Product Setting Up the Product The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. To open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Video For quick setup, use one of the predened stream proles. Each predened prole has a descriptive name, indicating its purpose. If required, the predened stream proles can be modied and new customized stream proles can be created.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) Gatekeeper The Active Gatekeeper monitors an area such as an entrance gate. When motion is detected in the monitored area, the Gatekeeper will, depending on conguration, steer the camera to a selected preset position or start autotracking from a selected preset position.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Detectors Detectors Shock Detection Enable Shock Detection from the Detectors menu. Shock detection is used, for example, to generate an alarm if the product is hit by an object. Use the Shock sensitivity slider to adjust the sensitivity level at which the product should send an alarm upon being hit.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Events Events The Axis product can be congured to perform actions when different events occur, for example, start a recording when motion is detected. The set of conditions that denes how and when the action is triggered is called an Action Rule .
AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Events - Recording — triggers the rule when the Axis product records to the storage device. The recording status trigger can be used to notify the operator, for example by ashing LED lights, if the product has started or stopped to record to the storage device.

AXIS Q6045-C PTZ Dome Network Camera Languages Languages Multiple languages can be installed in the Axis product. All web pages including the online help will be displayed in the selected language. To switch languages, go to Setup > Languages and rst upload the new language le.

One port is dedicated for the I/O signals between the media converter switch, the supplied multi-connector cable and the camera.
