English 1 About This Manual How This Manual is Organized You can get the most out of your new oven by reading this manual from beginning to end. This way, you will systematically get to know your ap pliance and become familiar with its opera tion and features.
English 2 Safety Proper Installation and Maintenance Have the installer show you the lo cation of the circuit breaker or fuse. Mark it for easy reference. This appliance must be proper ly installed and grounded by a qualifie d technician. Connect only to a prop er ly gr ou nd e d ou tle t.
English 3 Use this appliance only for its intend ed purpose as described in this manual. Fo r example, never use the appl iance for warm ing or heating the room. Ne ver use the appliance for storage. Always have a working smoke detector nea r the kitchen.
English 4 Use caution when cooking foods with hi gh alcohol content (e.g. rum, brandy, bourbon) in the oven. Alcohol evap orates at high temperatures. The re is a risk of burning as the alcohol vapors may catch fire in the oven. Use only small quantities of alcohol in foods, and open the oven door car efully.

English 6 Getting Started Parts and Accessories Parts* *Picture shows double oven. You r appliance may vary slightly. Cooling Fan The cooling fan runs during all cooking mo des. The fan can be heard when it is running, and warm air may be felt as it is released from the oven vent.

English 8 Inserting Rack Flat Rack The rack is designed with a stop so it will stop before coming co mpletely out of the oven and not tilt. Inserting Flat Rack into Oven: Removing Fl at Rack from Oven: 1. Grasp rack firmly on both sides and pull rack toward you.
English 9 Control* *This is a double oven control panel. Y our control pane l may vary slightly. Cooking Mode Touchpads Slider Touchpads - You on ly have to press lightly on the touchpads to operat e them. The pads will not work if you press sever al of them a t once, suc h as when cl eaning them.
English 10 Before Using the Oven for the First Time • Oven must be prope rly installed by a q ualified technician before use. • Remove all packing materials from inside and outside the oven. • While cool, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dr y. • There may be a slight odor during firs t uses; this is normal and will disappear.
English 11 Operation About the Appliance Your new oven combines pop ular functions, premium cooking results and simple operation. The "cookWiz" function makes it possible to select the des ired food ty pe using the display menu. The oven then starts automatically, using the correct cooking mode and temperature.
English 12 To set the clock: 1. Press clock . 2. Set the current time using th e slider. The time programmed is displa yed; for instance, 10 :30 am: 1. Press clock or wait 3 seconds. The clock is now set an d running. Timer Two timers can be set on this oven.
English 13 • The timer does not change when other settings are changed . Setting the Cooking Mode and Temperature To set the cooking mode and temperature: 1. Press on/off to switch on the oven. 2. Double ovens: select the desired oven by pressing upper or lower .
English 14 Fast Preheat Fas t Preheat he ats the ov en quicker th an st andard preheat. It is available for Bake, Roast, True Convection, Convection Bake , Convection Roast, Pizza an d Pie modes. To set Fast Preheat: 1. Set the cooking mode and temperatur e.
English 15 The program med cooking mode, stop time and coo k time appear in the display: 3. Use the slider to set the cook time. 4. Press start . The oven starts. The oven turns off a nd a beep sounds a t the en d of the programmed time. Open th e oven door or press any key to cancel the beep sound.
English 16 Note: Stop Time is not availabl e if a probe is in use. cookWiz cookWiz includes functions with pre-pro grammed settings. The temperature and cook time are automatically activa ted base d on the items you choose in the men us. However, it is possible to chang e temperature and cooking time ma nually.
English 17 Note: • It is necessary to preh eat for baked goods, pie, pizza, and casserole. • When using an automatic program, it is not necessa ry to preheat the oven wh en roasting meat or poultry. • If the food is not cook ed to the desired degree of doneness, continue by using a normal heating mode (re fer to the cooking charts).

English 20 User Settings The User Settings are used to customize settings. The oven ha s to be tur ned off with no timer ru nning in orde r to access the user settings menu. Always do the following to make changes to user settings: 1. Press info to access the us er settings menu.
English 21 Getting the Most Out of Your Appliance General Tips Pan Placement Baking results are better if pans are placed in th e ce nter of the oven. If baking more than one pan on a rack, allo w a t least 1 " to 1 ½" of air spa ce ar ound the p an.
English 22 Specify which high alt itud e foo d pr eparation guide you prefer: general information, cakes, cookies, breads, etc. Condensation • It is normal for certain amount of mois ture to evapora te from the f ood during an y cooking process. The amoun t depends on the mo isture content of the food.
English 23 Tips: • Place food in shallow, uncove red pans, such as cookie sheets without sides. • Reduce recipe tempera ture by 25 °F if Convection Conversion is not activated. • If multiple racks ar e necessary, refer to True Convection Chart.
English 24 True Convection True Convection is well suited for cookin g individual serving-sized foods such as cookies and biscuits. It is also good for cooking on mu ltiple racks (2 or 3) at the same time. Baking cookies is possible on 6 racks simultaneously.
English 25 Pie Use Pie to cook fresh or frozen pies. Tips: • Baking times may slightly decr ease when using this mode. Ch eck pie s earlier. • To prevent over browning, the pie edge may need to be covered with foil or a pie ring. • Use bleached all purpose flour or pastry flour for crusts.
English 26 Pizza Use the Pizza mode for fresh or frozen pizza. Tips: • For a crispy crust, place pizza directly on the rack. • For a softer crust, use a pizza pan. • When proofing dough, co at dough with olive oil and cove r bowl tightly with plastic wrap to prevent crust formation.
English 27 Convection Roast The Convection Roast mode is well suited for preparing tender cuts of meat and poultry. The benefits of Convecti on Roast mo de include: • As much as 25% faster cooking than non-convection modes. • Rich, golden browning.

The minimum safe tem- perature for stuffing in poultr y is 165 °F. Broil The Broil mode is best suited for coo king thin, tender cuts of meat (1" or less), poultry and fish.

English 31 Speed Convection Chart Proof • Proofing is the rising of yeast dough. • The Proof mode temperature r ange is 85 ºF to 110 ºF. • The default temperature in the Proof mode is 100 ºF. • Loosely cover the bowl or pan and use any rack that acco mmodates the size of the container.
English 32 Dehydrate Use Dehydra te to dry and /or preser ve foods such as fruits, ve getables an d herbs. This mode holds an optimum low temperatur e (100 ºF – 160 ºF) while circulating th e heated air to slowly remo ve moisture. The oven stays on for 48 hours before shutting o ff automat ically.

English 34 Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning Self-Clean During Self-Clean , the o ven is heated to a very high temperatur e. Soil is burne d off at this temperature. IMPORTANT: Wipe out excessive spillage be fore self-cleaning the oven. IMPORTA NT: Do not clean parts or accesso ries in the Self-Clean oven.
English 35 Cleaning Guide Part Recommendations Flat Ra ck Wash with hot soapy water. Rins e th oroughly and dry, or gently rub with cleansing powder or soap- filled pads as directed.
English 36 Maintenance Replacing an Oven Light Use only 10 Watt, 12 Volt bi-p in haloge n light bulbs. T hese bulb s can be pur chased through retail stores. Use a clean, dry cloth to ha ndle halogen light bulbs. This will increase the life of the bulb.
English 37 Removing the Oven Door 3. Pull the halogen bulb from its socket. 4. Replace the halo gen bulb. Grasp the new bulb with a clean, dry cloth. 5. Put the glass cover back on by inserting it into the lower mounting clip and pressing upward until it locks into place.
English 38 To remove the oven door : To replace the oven door: 1. Be sure to read the above WARNING before attempting to remove the d oor. 2. Open the door completely. 3. Flip levers on hinges toward yo u. 4. Close door carefully until it stops. It will be about half way closed.
